Rancho San Marcos Golf Course

• One of the most beautiful golf courses in the state. RSM sits along the Santa Ynez river in the Santa Ynez valley just over the 154 Hwy pass from SB. A Robert Trent Jones design leaves a little to be desired (especially on the back 9) but the views and the conditions make this a true gem of a course. There are no homes, no roads, very few people and nothing but mountain vistas and open space to gaze at while you meander across the course. Bobcats, wild Turkeys and eagles are among the wildlife you may encounter a well conditioned track with a very nice practice facility RSM is a must play and is a much, much better golf course than Sandpiper. So if you have only one SB area course to play, play this one.
