"The Perg" has a "bad girl" vibe. It's grungy, artsy, and doesn't give a hoot about what anyone thinks. Conversely, it is one of the most welcoming establishments in town. The wi-fi is free, the coffee is strong, beers are $5 or under, and the food is characteristically quirky. One of the highlights of Caffe Pergolesi is the ample outdoor seating, perfect for unwinding with a mocha or a Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing Co. beer. Artwork from local artists hangs askew and the chipped paint points to the Perg's defiance for a polished appearance.
