Ideal Bar and Grill makes sandwiches by the sea shore--and cocktails, sea food, steaks, and burgers. It is located right at the base of the Santa Cruz Wharf, a location that brings in a lot of foot traffic from there and the Beach Boardwalk. While it's not the best food you'll ever eat, it is convenient. Part of that is has to do with the fact that it is one of the only restaurants in this neck of the woods open past 9pm. Ideal is a really popular local hang out, so if people watching is your thing, not to mention sports watching, this is a fun spot.
