  • Description:

    • Tucked away down a dirt lane in the historic Eastside, this Santa Fe New Mexico bed & breakfast is an intimate, secluded adobe compound with two options for lodging: The Suite, which occupies half the main house, and the Casita, a two bedroom guest house next door. Both accommodations of this unique New Mexico bed and breakfast are incredibly spacious, with traditional New Mexican features, all the expected amenities, and the artist/owner's personal touches: fresh flowers, a wonderful art collection, homemade cookies, good books and great breakfasts. While each accommodation of this Santa Fe B&B is comparable in size, style, amenities and price, each has distinct advantages. If there are only two of you and you are looking for full gourmet breakfasts, alot of outdoor space, and a hostess every morning, the Suite is for you. If you are more independent types or want an extra bedroom or a kitchen, the Casita would better meet your needs. Dunshees' kitchen is stocked daily with homemade granola, fruit compotes, fresh muffins, gourmet coffee and juices for a delicious help-yourself breakfast. The Casita is also good for extended stays as there is a weekly rate with reduced services. With kiva fireplaces and private gardens and patios, Dunshees provides year-round romance and serenity. This Santa Fe New Mexico lodging is ideally situated just a mile from the bustle of the plaza and a few blocks from the galleries and restaurants of Canyon Road. Proprietor Susan Dunshee, artist and amateur ballroom dancer, resides in the main house and is happy to give directions and candid opinions on where to eat, sightsee, shop and hike and to make sure you make the most of your time in New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment. Whether for a quick getaway or an extended stay, make Dunshees your Santa Fe home.
