NileGuide Expert tip:
You'll want transportation as King's Rest Court is away from most Santa Fe attractions.
Description:
- Cheap, clean-what else could you ask for for the money? It's not close to the Plaza, but the price is right, and being an authentic Route 66 motor court, it's an attraction in itself. Until 1936 Route 66 ran through Santa Fe and south to Albuquerque, before it was straightened out along current I-40 from Santa Rosa to Albuquerque. Rates at the King's Rest Court start at $45 for a single, a bargain in Santa Fe. Don' expect much in the way of breakfast, but with the money you'll save, you can have a feast in town. No website.

I was somehow expecting a little more. You can see daylight through the gaps between the door and jamb, a result of the funky old style of the hotel I suppose. The room was clean...
