Description:
- The food at A La Mesa is an eclectic mix of international flavors, a menu designed to show off our love of local ingredients and knowledge and use of more exotic ones. Our wallet-friendly menu features dishes as unusual as a lamb or pork tagine from Morocco to plates as down home as buttermilk fried chicken with mashed potatoes. Appetizers are designed to facilitate easy sharing, from bowls of steamed Mussels Mariniere to chicken liver pate with our housemade bread. Main dishes include classic dishes such as steak frites, coq au vin, confit of duck, salad nicoise, rabbit dijonnaise, rack of lamb bordelaise, and fresh seafood such as salmon meuniere or bouillabaisse. Desserts will finish your meal with such goodies as creme brulee, chocolate mousse, or warm apple-walnut bread pudding with brandied hard sauce. We seek to make A LA Mesa your home away from home, your favorite hangout, and your choice for dining with friends, family and all the people you love.
