  • In a cozy, causal atmosphere created by hardwood floors, pine tables, and a banco along one wall, this new restaurant serves some of Santa Fe's most flavorful Italian food. The menu changes seasonally taking advantage of what's fresh. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. The only downside is the place gets busy and can be noisy. Pizza is one big draw here, with a thin crispy crust and lots of cheese. I like the chicken pesto, with artichoke hearts and red onion. Diners can select from a number of burgers and salads, such as the grilled fish of the day atop greens with roasted potatoes, green beans, tomato, and balsamic vinaigrette. For entrees, the baked cannelloni is delicious, as is the pasta primavera, especially with added grilled shrimp. A lemon mascarpone brownie I had recently still visits me in sweet dreams. A carefully selected beer and wine list accompanies the menu.

    Average meal

  • The Ceasar Salad was anemic at best. Pizza was ok, good crust, but just average. No ambience in the restaurant at all. The service was good.
