- Los Potrillos is an authentic Mexican restaurant in Santa Fe that won the Best of Santa Fe Award 2007. It's a feeding ground for the locals, and the decor is unique with its wooden tables, chairs, hand-carved sculptures, murals, cacti and curtains that complete the authentic "western" atmosphere. The menu boasts chips and salsa, steaks, and seafood. Try the shrimp cocktail and rellenos. The Pechunga en Salsa, chicken breasts covered in pineapple sauce, the Cabrito, goat meat marinated and sauteed in peanut and almond sauce, and the Pork and Pineapple, grilled with onions and served with hot molcajete, are all delectable. The culinary skills of the chefs at Los Potrillos keep guests happy indeed!
