• Located within the Eldorado Hotel, this restaurant consistently rates as one of Santa Fe's best in local publications' polls. In a Southwestern atmosphere, rich with colorful Native American art (though without the historic ambiance of Geronimo or the Santacafé), the Old House serves quality meats, poultry, and seafood in refined sauces. The menu changes seasonally, using local and organic ingredients, when possible. Your meal might start with buffalo carpaccio with arugula and lemon pepper oil and move onto striped bass with Anasazi beans and green chile, or a lamb loin with vegetables provencale and rosemary jus. Each entree is paired with a wine selection from the Wine Spectator award-winning list. For dessert, the banana napoleon with house-made cognac ice cream is delectable.
