- In the late 1880s, this site was a railroad-warehousing center. Today, after an extensive restoration in 1984, the property is a market center and a wonderful site of civic activity. Bright colors and ornate landscaping give a festive air to the exterior. There are a number of quality shops that carry clothing, candles, shoes and jewelry. Many of the boutiques are locally owned, although you will find a Border's Bookstore and a Cost Plus World Market at Sanbusco Market Center. If you work up an appetite, stop in at Pranzo Italian Grill or El Tesoro Cafe for a bite. The marketplace often holds special events; see the website for specific details.
