Description:
- In 1897 Gaudenzio Ciano, the first hotelier in the family, came to Santa Margherita from Orto Sam Giulio in the province of Novara where he was the owner of the Belvedere Hotel which he had built himself. A century later, his great-grandchildren are carrying on the prestigious tradition which he started. The Laurin Hotel is situated along the Santa seafront. There is a splendid view of the Gulf of Tigullio from many of the rooms.
