    • The Santa Monica Mountains are adjacent to the higher end neighborhoods of Los Angeles and offer free spectacular views of the city and ocean. They are best during the rainy season. Remember it only rains 14 inchs a year. Will Rodgers park has a costs to park but the other areas like Temescal have street parking. There are picnic benches. The Will Rodgers small hike allow the hiker to see some of the most famous real estate in the city. The grounds are perfect for a picnic, or a family to enjoy a wide expanse of lawn area. There are adjacent polo fields which sometimes have matches. The Will Rogers house is a great example of the rich cowboy lifestyle. You can also bike ride the trails. You can hike for as short a times or as long as you want.
