- Located 50 minutes North from Copan Ruins, following the road that passes Macaw Mountain Bird Reserve, Luna Jaguar Hot Springs & Spa is well worth the visit, the natural hot springs flow from the source within the premises, and further downhill it mixes with a regular temperature stream. The place is themed around a Maya ritual involving 13 special sites, there is opportunity to enjoy a nice massage for an additional cost, normally $30 for half an hour. Entrance fee is $10 but you have to arrange transportation, there are several buses that go there, and if you come in a group of 4 or more, it is worth to get a local Tour Operators to arrange it for you as a package.
