• Looking for fresh fruit and vegetables for your healthy low-budget meal? The local market at Copan Ruinas has a colorful arrangement of fresh produce right from the farmers at the mountains around. There is also opportunity to have a complete meal or flavor some "empanadas" similar to the Salvadorean "pupusas" a tortilla stuffed with loroco, cheese, beans, or other sorts of delicious mixtures of herbs of the season.
