Description:
- Capitol cinema is in the centre of the city, near Alameda de Oviedo boulevard, and is one of Santander's classic picture palaces. It originally opened in 1963, but after a serious fire, subsequent renovation work meant it didn't reopen to the public until 1980. The cinema has a 750 seat auditorium equipped with Dolby Digital sound. It is part of the Marcos Restegui chain, and tends to show box office hits.
