Description:

• Baires is the largest of all the sit-down-and-eat restaurants and bars in Santiago's hip Barrio Brasil. Despite its size, it's a very comfortable place, with a good beer selection including several local craft varieties, decent sushi, and lots of food to choose from. The crowd is mostly 20s to 30s, though older patrons will not feel out of place. It's a place for dates and groups of friends, but definitely not a pick up scene.
  
  The bar is easily accessible by metro and bus, and it's very easy to get a taxi to take home if you leave late (and you very well may).
