As Santiaguinos expand their palates, international restaurants are becoming more and more popular in this city of traditionally more Chilean tastes. Japanese (in the form of sushi) is on every corner, and some fine Peruvian restaurants as well as their cheapie brothers fill the downtown area. Old standbys like Italian make an appearance, and there's even Ecuadorian, Brazilian and Colombian to choose from these days.
