• This hotel in Santiago's famously posh Las Condes neighborhood is located on Isidora Goyonochea, a well-heeled street lined with famous restaurants if the several dining options in the W itself don't float your boat. The hotel offers stellar views of the Andes mountains, and has a rooftop deck with a pool, an import food store below and a couple of bars where the local fashionistas like to see and be seen. It's a feather in Santiago's cap that the W decided to locate in this city, and it is also just steps from uppercrust shopping on Alonso de Cordoba as well as being convenient to the metro and for business meetings in Chile's financial heart, affectionately known as "Sanhattan."
  
  The hotel also has one of the best gyms in the city, accoladed (if pricey) restaurants, and a very exclusive feel, without being set far out of the city. Even on weekends, there are plenty of people around, since this is a main dining strip for upper-class Santiaguinos.
