Description:

Pinch of Pancho is perfectly located just minutes from many of the major uptown hotels whose patrons would love a bit of upscale comfort food, the American version. Visitors to Santiago who are crafing some tastes from home (where home is the United States) could do worse than to check out this restaurant, which though somewhat higher-priced than your average meal in Providencia, will deliver flavors and portion sizes from the New World. One favorite is the breaded seafood platter, with scallops, clams and other seafood breaded and fried, and served with a number of different sauces, including barbecue, bleu cheese and tartar sauce. The Philly cheesesteak with onions is popular among meat eaters, and anyone who grew up eating New England clam chowder will want to try Pincho of Pancho's version.

There's even apple pie a la mode (with vanilla icecream) for dessert. Be certain to make a reservation for Friday or Saturday nights, when the place really fills up. the restaurant is metro accessible, from metro Manuel Montt.
