• La Bicicleta Verde is a locally-owned bike tour company that is making waves in Santiago. Their bilingual guides will whisk you around town (or to a local winery) on their signature bright green beach cruiser bikes with Spanish-English commentary on what you're seeing. There's a tour through La Chimba, an old neighborhood in Santiago including a trip through the Mercado Central and even to a café con piernas (essentially a Hooters-café). They also lead walking tours and can rent you bikes (and will come to your rescue if you get a flat) around the city. Nighttime tours are particularly colorful, and include a taxi back to your hotel.
  
  If you're in town on the first Tuesday of the month pick up a bike at their Santa María office to participate in Santiago's monthly critical mass ride.
