For meat lovers, this is a must. While becoming an international brand synonymous with Brazilian barbecue, Fogo de Chão has maintained its standing at home as one of São Paulo's finest churrascaria-style steakhouses. The restaurant's unwavering quality and charm have helped it continually offer one of the most sought-after eating experiences in the city. Year after year, Fogo takes best in show from a range of magazines, newspapers and other media outlets.

Waiters, or garcoms, dressed in traditional gaucho attire circle the dining room with fine cuts of beef (including the local favorite picanha, or baby beef), chicken, pork, lamb, boar and fish, among other prey. Accompanying the wide selection of meats is a salad bar stocked with vegetables, sides, sushi and hot dishes. All of it, from chicken hearts (a delicacy here) to artichokes, is all-you-can-eat, or rodizio.

For those brave enough to eat dessert after a Fogo feast, the establishment offers a delights from chocolate cake to papaya mousse.

The starting price for the buffet is Rs. 88. Drinks and desserts cost extra.
