• All things cultural find there place here in the Centro Cultural São Paulo, an imposing and multi-faceted complex of pathways with over 50,000 square feet of space. Constructed in 1982, this interdisciplinary center holds all types of events, from art exhibitions, conference, seminars and workshops to dance performance, classical concerts and film screenings. And aside from all of the entertainment that can be found here, the Cultural Center acts as a repository for various art collections, an information and documentation department about art and history in Brazil, in addition to some wonderful libraries that are all accessible and open to the public. With more than 70,000 people that traverse throughout the center each month, it is no wonder why this institution stands out as one of the most popular venues for both locals and the lucky tourists that stumble upon it.
