The Ritz-Carlton is best known for gourmet meals served on white tablecloths beneath crystal chandeliers. In 2009 the Ritz-Carlton, responding to the struggling economy, opened the Bayview Burger Bar, a sportsbar overlooking the harbor. It is a relaxed, casual place to enjoy a juicy burger, crispy fries and a hand-dipped milk shake. The bar offers domestic and imported beer plus a variety of signature cocktails. With three flat-screen TVs it also is a place to enjoy the big games. Open to the public from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday, take advantage of the free valet parking for BayView customers. You also can dine outdoors on the patio beside the marina. Attire? Resort casual is recommended. Sandwiches are available for $6 to $9. The "Buford" includes bacon, cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, and a jumbo onion ring. Chocolate cheesecake or white chocolate tiramisu also is on the menu. Cocktails, are competitively priced at $9 or $10.
