The venue is as hip, counterculture, and artfully kitsch as anything you might have expected in Manhattan, with the added benefit of a reputation for the biggest martinis (10 oz.) in town. You'll find the most comfortable bar stools anywhere (they're covered in faux leopard or zebra), live music most nights, and, when a band is not performing, a jukebox. Everything is congenially battered, with enough rock and musical memorabilia to please the curators of a rock-'n'-roll hall of fame. It's open daily from 3pm to 3am.
