    • Built during the 18th century for General Hugh Mercer, great-grandfather of songwriter Johnny Mercer, The Mercer Williams House was bought and restored by Jim Williams in 1969. The place is also the setting of the classic-book and movie, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Each room of the house is filled with furnishings, paintings, antiques and Chinese porcelain collected by Williams. Recently opened to the public, the house tour is an excellent way to spend the afternoon and you can buy souvenirs at the Carriage. Ticket Price USD12.50.
