• "Shakespeare in the Park" is the essence of this organization, treating Seattle to the bard's works in various parks each summer for more than 10 years. The season usually includes two or more productions, with about 50 performances in all. Performances are free, but GreenStage relies heavily on donations. When possible, the company extends its season into spring and fall with performances at local theaters. The park program is sponsored by Seattle Parks and Recreation through the Langston Hughes Cultural Arts Center. Call or check the Web site for season schedule and information.
