Description:
- Designed by Fentress Bradburn Architects Ltd. of Denver, the Pacific Marketplace in the Sea-Tac International Airport is a great place to dine, shop and relax before your flight. The $133 million, 240,000 sq ft structure was created with the traveler's needs in mind, including comfortable seats that can be moved around the terminal and reasonable pricing for food items. There is a range of dining options such as Anthony's Restaurant (upscale seafood cuisine), Ivar's Seafood Bar, Makai of Japan, Kathy Casey Dish D'Lish (upscale deli), Pallino Pastaria, Dilettante Chocolates, Qdoba Mexican Grill and Wendy's. Shops include Borders Books, Discover Puget Sound (gifts and artwork), Ex Officio (clothing), The Body Shop, National Geographic's Store, Made in Washington and Kids Works. A highlight of Pacific Marketplace is the dramatic focal point: a series of 449 glass panes which provide a fantastic view of the Olympic Mountains and departing planes. Since Pacific Marketplace is located past security, it is only accessible for ticketed passengers.
