Description:
- In Short
This friendly neighborhood restaurant is nice enough for a date but casual enough for a weeknight dinner. Prawn soup is a cold buster, with just the right amount of spice in a balanced lime and lemongrass broth. Most dishes are available with your choice of meat, seafood or tofu. Larb is an authentic starter, with ground meat or tofu mixed with roasted rice powder, and plenty of the Thai trinity of mint, lime and cilantro.

This restaurant is a family favorite. Most of the dishes are really good. I like the red-brown rice and the whole fish.

The service is a bit wonky but Jamjuree is by far the best thai place in Capitol Hill!! You must try the turmeric fried rice.
