Szmania - Seattle

  • Description:

    • This stylish Magnolia restaurant may yet make this residential neighborhood a tourist destination. The high ceiling and warm colors make this a comfortable place for a wonderful meal. Linen-topped tables surround a fireplace, and a huge, curved counter offers a view of the kitchen. The cuisine combines contemporary Northwest fare with a touch of Central Europe. Chef Szmania, originally from Dusseldorf, Germany, offers dishes from home including jaegerschnitzel and sauerkraut with smoked pork loin and German sausage. The wine list boasts 165 wines from around the world.
