Description:
- Reclaimed wood juxtaposed with raw concrete walls, street-side counter seats and just four booths for two define the newest eating establishment of Ethan Stowell (of Union Restaurant fame) and his partner-in-food Patric Gabre-Kidan. A 30-foot table dominates the dining room inviting patrons to share the space, and the room is highlighted by a full-length iron and glass chandelier. Portions are generous and also enourage an atmosphere of sharing. Authentic Italian starters such as veal carpaccio and octopus salad are of note, and the house made pasta is not to be missed. Definitely save room for the zeppole – little sugar-dusted lemon donuts that melt in your mouth. The wine list is thoughtful yet affordable.
