- Cuisines: Greek, Middle Eastern
NileGuide Expert tip:
The platters aren't so pricey if you share with a friend – and there's definitely more than enough for two people to make a meal of it.
Description:
- The falafels are served hot and crumbled, the lamb is juicy, the hummus and feta cheese are rich and full of flavor... If you're hanging around downtown Seattle and craving Greek, Zaina's is the place to go. A platter of gyro meat or falafel with the works – tabouleh, hummus, tahini sauce, olives and feta – is a generous plateful of deliciousness. The lentil soup is fantastic, and a steal at $4.65 for a bowl with grilled pita for dipping. And the gyro and falafel wraps strike the perfect balance between hot and cold, spicy and cool, stuffed to overflowing with a variety of flavors.
Take a seat on a stool at the counter, or grab one of the few outdoor tables on Pine if it's a nice day. - © NileGuide2012
