• A long-time Pioneer Square institution, Seattle's most famous bookstore packed its considerable number of books and headed up the hill – Capitol Hill, more specifically. While many fans lamented the loss of the historical store, the new location manages to capture the same feel of a cozy, intimate shop with a chain-store sized collection. The Elliot Bay Cafe is on-site as well, tucked in the back of the first floor and offering a selection of omlettes, soups and other treats, as well as their delicious espresso drinks.
