• The Fourth of July is a competitive day in Seattle. There are two major firework shows just a few miles from each other, this one and the one over Elliott Bay, and each viewer is loyal to his or her favorite. This show is launched from a barge just off Gas Works Park. Bring a picnic blanket to the park, relax and wait for the magic to start. Or, if you plan far enough in advance you can make reservations for dinner at the Space Needle, right between the two events, and enjoy both shows from the revolving restaurant.
