Description:
- This trail begins at the National Recreation Area Trailhead at Stehekin, at Prince Creek Campground, or, as a shorter hike, from Moore Point. The trail follows the shore of Lake Chelan and has many good viewpoints. Camping locations are available at Prince Creek, Cascade Creek, Meadow Creek shelter, Moore Point, and Flick Creek. Fires are prohibited during the high fire danger season except in fire grates or at areas which are designated by signs. Access to water is not a problem, but it should be treated. Rattlesnakes and ticks are common in spring. This trail is maintained annually.
