Description:

  • This 3/4 mile trail, located at the north end of Kachess Campground, winds through a nicely wooded area with views of Little Kachess Lake and Thorp Mountain. The gravel surface has slopes less that five percent with several rest areas. A highlight of this trail is the hand-hewn, log stringer trail bridge built by the Student Conservation Association in 1989. A trail park permit is required for use of the area and is available for a small fee.
