Northwest Bookfest

Description:

• Less than ten years old, this festival has grown into a powerful literary event. Held at the Stadium Exhibition Center, it features more than 200 authors, 175 exhibitors, and numerous workshops, readings, signings and panel discussions. There are just as many events for children, so bring them along. Kids can make books and try other literary crafts. Other events, scheduled throughout the weekend include puppet shows, folk singers, children's plays and storytelling. Admission is free, but a donation of USD5 is suggested.
