Description:
- The Notch Pass Trail follows an ancient route used by Native Americans for hundreds of years. The trail was officially constructed in the 1930's by the CCC crews and laid unused for many years until it was reopened in 1999. The trail climbs to the "notch" in the Green Mountain Range. From the top of the notch, continue on the road to the right for about a quarter mile for views of Mt Townsend and some of the interior Olympics.
