Description:

  • Pike and Pine streets aren't just happening spots downtown; they run parallel all the way up to Capitol Hill, and starting at the corners of both and Melrose Avenue, form a great little "corridor" with tons of restaurants, cafes, shops and galleries to check out.

If you're more interested in shopping, take a walk along Pike, while Pine has tons of great little eateries. After you're loaded up with bags and maybe a latte to go, take a break at Cal Anderson Park on 11th Avenue near the fountain and reflecting pool.
