Description:
- The trail from Deer Park to Three Forks leads four and a half miles one way. It descends nearly 2,500 feet from Grand Ridge to the junction of Cameron Creek, Grand Creek and Gray Wolf River. The trail begins in an open meadow with subalpine terrain and descends into a dense forest with montane community of trees and shrubs. Views abound from the beginning of this trek. To the west hikers will see the Grand Creek drainage, the Needles and Gray Wolf Ridge lie to the south. Fishing is excellent in Cameron Creek and Gray Wolf River on the valley floor.
