A creative Italian menu served in an elegantly furnished, understated dining area with wooden floors and contemporary accents? What's not to love? Pastas are well prepared, especially the seafood pastas (such as the anchovy or mackerel and leek pastas), although some of the tomato-based sauces can be a bit pedestrian. Servers are attentive and polite. Your best value is to go for the weekday lunch set menu, which includes choices from several courses -- prices go up considerably on weekends and for dinner. The upstairs wine bar is open until 1am.
