Description:

  • Seville has long been linked with music, especially opera, and both fans and musicians in town for performances find a perfect romantic retreat at this hotel dedicated to both music and Mozart. The restored 18th-century town house has an Andalusian patio where classical concerts are occasionally presented. Staying here is like lodging in a villa dedicated not only to music but painting and sculpture. Bedrooms are soundproof in case any guest wants to take advantage of the music room off the central patio. Request one of the dozen or so rooms in the main building, since they are more traditional and more comfortable. Additional rooms are in an annex, but it's more fun to stay where the action is. All the accommodations are in a traditional Sevillian style. Our favorite spot here is not the music room but the roof terrace where breakfast is served -- it looks out over the city, including Giralda Tower and the Judería.
