Description:
One of the most arresting hotels in Seville occupies a triangle-shaped plaza from which it's easy to access, via a brisk 7-minute walk through impossibly narrow alleyways loaded with shops and tascas (tapas restaurants), the rear side of the cathedral. In 2002 this former office building was radically gutted and stripped, replaced by an angular, glistening, architecturally dramatic, and minimalist interior that's entirely sheathed, both in its bedrooms and public areas, with slabs of beige-colored marble, dark-stained hardwoods, and white plaster walls. The best bedrooms directly overlook the animated plaza outside. Additional bedrooms with less intriguing views overlook courtyards and the buildings of the surrounding neighborhood.
