  • Hanging out around the Pearl Tower is a great idea! There is a park nearby, loads of restaurants, bars, clubs and the business and financial center in Pudong/Lujiazui is where many a businessman comes for work. The hotels in the region are impeccable and provide some of the best places to stay in Shanghai. The nightlife in the area is legendary.

    Cloud 9 Bar on the top of Jin Mao Tower is a beautiful place for a well-mixed martini. From here you can get a view of the entire city, as well as one of the most astonishing views of the Huangpu River. The Piano Bar is in the same amazing tower, and offers a more relaxed way to enjoy Jin Mao Tower.

    For pubs around the Pearl Tower, you'll find Flanagans and the Dublin Exchange provide a comfortable place to hang out with friends, eat Shepard's pie and shoot back a few Irish beers. These two places are open for lunch, where business people gather daily to chow down and slurp a few beers before returning to the cubicle.

    For relaxing lounges, the Patio Lounge and Silva Lounge are great little places with comfortable seating and simple music. You'll be able to while away the hours at these establishments with decently priced drinks. The entire set up is designed to invite you to feel at home.

    Pu-J's and B.A.T.S. are hip Pudong/Lujiazui bars where you'll find hip and cool folks ready to relax after a long day at the office.
