  • The Pudong International Airport is linked to Pudong/Lujiazui by the super high speed Maglev train that deposits traffic to and from the airport at over 500kph. This means that no matter when your flight, a stop in Pudong/Lujiazui is possible and, in fact, easy.

    The best bar stop if you only have time for one, is Cloud 9 Bar, which is near the top of the famous Jin Mao Tower, in central Lujiazui. Here, you'll have a panoramic view of the beautiful city of Shanghai. The best view of the Huangpu River, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and of night time Pu'xi District.

    For a fun night out, Aqua Bar, along the Pudong Bund, offers the chance to sip cold vodka inside a freezer. They provide the jackets, you provide the thirst.

    A bit more upscale, the Piano Bar, in Jin Mao Tower, is a wonderful place to relax before a long flight, or to get your grounding once you've arrived. Again, Jin Mao Tower is the most popular and beautiful structure in Shanghai and not to be missed.

    The Dublin Exchange, Paulaner Brauhaus and Flanagan's Pub as well as Champion's Bar all offer the relaxed sports bar/pub atmosphere you may have come to miss while visiting Shanghai. These are the western tried-and-true establishments that draw return crowds. You'll enjoy a simple beer or meal at these fine establishments while you watch sports, shoot a game of pool or just enjoy the peace and quiet.
