Tongren Road is a bar street that caters to men. The sports bars on this street like Big Bamboo, Blue Frog, The Spot and Malone's all cater almost exclusively to male needs. You'll find beautiful waitresses and bartenders serving stiff drinks and tall beers while the game plays on various big screens across the bar. Pool tables and dart boards abound, further down the street you can find street food when the bars close in the wee hours of the morning. In short, for a sports-centered night head to Tongren Road and look for the establishment airing your particular game.
Bulldog Pub is an establishment that tries to have it all. Classy bar on one level and screaming sports fanatics on the other, you'll be able to enjoy the game, great company and sometimes live entertainment all in one location.
Flanagan's Pub and Charlie's are less fanatical about spots and more fanatical about drinking. If you want a sports bar feel without all the sports, these places are for you!
Cheap entertainment and fun can be had at Windows Cafe and Pub where Chinese sports are aired most nights but the occasional football game attracts large crowds of lubricated university students.
