  • Jing'An Temple, located on Nanjing West Road, is right in the heart of the action. Any stay near this attraction offers easy access to the subway, buses and taxis of the city. You'll be within walking distance of many of Shanghai's finest international restaurants and there are other tourist hot spots in the vicinity. Jing'An, slightly west of the downtown area, is the ideal hang out location.

For western food, try Palladio Italian, Always Cafe, Le Bouchon, Frankie's and Long Bar. You'll find these all withing a short commute of Jing'An Temple. Always Cafe is a delightful place to spend the afternoon with a good book while Frankie's and Long Bar are more the sports hang-out type where an evening out with the boys is exactly what the doctor ordered. Palladio and Le Bouchon offer dining that will impress you, with french flare that can't go unnoticed.

For a fusion dinner, the Foreign Culture Club and My Home offer a new way to look at food as well as the prime location for after dinner drinks or the perfect place to start a night on the town. You'll adore the drinks menus at both establishments, as well.

Tandoor, Di Shui Dong and Gongdelin offer ethnic cuisine that is top notch. Tandoor has Indian food done to perfection while Di Shui Dong is spicy Chinese with southern influences and Gongdelin offer vegetarian delights that will make the animals happy!
