Landmarks in Shanghai

What's the most populous city in China and the World got to offer in the way of Landmarks? You name it, Shanghai has got everything. This Chinese mega city hosts an array of architectural wonders, both modern and historic, with landmarks dotting the port and the urban center. Exerting influence financially, cultural, artistically and more, Shanghai is a world-class city with an international reputation and the landmarks to prove it.

The most famous landmark in Shanghai is the Bund, which is a boardwalk along the Puxi side of the Huangpu River, with an amazing view of Pudong across the water. Famous for the view of the rising sky scrapers, you'll see the old and new on either side of the river.

Yu Gardens, once the center of old Shanghai, is not a tourist attraction that features shopping, a garden, a pond and tons of souvenir shops. TaiKang Road offers a pleasnt view of the Shanghai hutong, and has shops, restaurants and bars to offer passing tourists.

The Oriental Pearl TV Tower is the icon of Shanghai, while Jin Mao Tower is the most famous modern super structure within China for its once dominant height. Nan Pu Bridge has recently become a new icon of Shanghai's growth, this winding bridge is a fun view from on high.
