Fill the day by visiting a few parks and culture streets, a sure way to enjoy the city without bumping into hundreds of other tourists. An evening exploration of the back alleys of Taikang Road provides a glimpse in the small art and culture shops.
Cross the Huagpu via the Psychedelic Tunnel to experience an extremely odd Shanghai expat favorite off-the-beaten-path activity. Enjoy the river even more with a rive cruise, they leave at all times of day and night and are a great way to orient yourself to your new surroundings.
