eTour is a great little hostel tucked away in tall plants and even a small coy stream. You'll get the typical hostel feel of cheap beds, cheap food and cheap drinks, but the company is always fantastic and the tours offered at eTour are some of the best hostel-based travel experiences in Shanghai.Rooms are available with 2, 4 or dorm numbered beds. Bags can be stored in lockers, though this costs a bit extra. You'll find towels available at the front desk. You'll find great travel advice, including maps, advice on subway and bus routes and even the possibility of renting a car or helping to have your onward travel arranged.
The staff are friendly and learning English. They like mingling with the hostel guests, especially in the evening when guests gather to play guitar, watch movies, play games or simply drink and chat. The atmosphere is congenial and fun, and its one of the highest ranked hostels by hostel guests in the city.
