This Accor-managed four-star tower in the heart of the pedestrian sector of Nanjing Lu has a superb downtown location. Opened in 1993, the hotel underwent extensive renovation in 2007, giving it a handsome contemporary look. Refurbished rooms are comfortable, with all the modern amenities associated with this luxury brand. Sofitel Club rooms are slightly larger and include a Western buffet breakfast. There's a European vibe to the hotel. Service is efficient, if a bit brusque at times.
